Lightsong Monthly Classes

Lightsong Sufi Center offers both open as well as closed monthly classes, usually on the first Sunday of each month. See agenda for updates.

PATH OF THE HEART OPEN  CLASS:

This is an open afternoon class given by members of Lightsong Sufi center. The classes offer an experiential approach to spiritual unfoldment and the awakening of the human heart.  Practices to heal, purify and transform are introduced, using breath, light, sacred sound, meditation and music.with breat.   All are welcome!  

CLOSED SUFI CIRCLE This is a closed ongoing circle for in-depth Sufi studies with those who can commit to this.  We work with specific themes in this circle, and members are expected to work with the class material in between meetings, applying its teachings to their daily lives in an experiential way.  

 Besides more advanced studies in the practices and methodologies of the Sufi Order's esoteric school, the closed circle encourages open hearted sharing of our inspirations, challenges, and ideals.  For this reason, this circle is not open for newcomers on a drop-in basis. We wish to foster an atmosphere of trust, friendship and safety for the personal nature of sharing within the group, as well as to provide a progressive and continuous method for personal transformation.

From time to time, new members are invited to join when they have demonstrated a high level of commitment and clarity of intention to ongoing Sufi training.

POTLUCK DINNERS: IN THE COMPANY OF FRIENDS

We share delicious culinary delights together at the end of our Sunday classe, what we call a "potluck dinner."    Everyone who wishes is invited to bring food and spiritual friendship to share.
