Holistic Health Care with Saki Lee

Saki Lee, is an Asian-American from San Francisco, California. Her life's work in the healing arts reflects a synthesis of eastern and western approaches to wholeness and well-being. Since 1975, she has been combining a keen understanding of traditional Oriental medicine with western body-mind therapies and spirituality. She has a deep interest in integrating western processes such as empowerment and healing presence with Oriental medical techniques. In particular, she specializes in helping her patients understand and work with the psycho-spiritual issues underlying energetic imbalances.

Saki has studied with numerous mentors and teachers of acupuncture, herbal medicine, qigong, bodywork, Ericksonian therapy, neuro-linguistic programming, clinical hypnotherapy, and spiritual healing. She regards study and research as an ongoing process to continue to fine tune her knowledge and skills of healing.

Among the teachers with whom she has studied are:  Dr. Yang Jwing-Ming (qigong), Dr. Bisong Guo (qigong), Master Hua-Ching Ni (Taoism and Oriental medicine), Dr. Weixiang Wang (medical qigong),  Larry Johnson, OMD (qigong), Ted Kaptchuk, OMD (Chinese herbal medicine), Subhuti Dharmananda, Ph.D.(Chinese herbal medicine), Waturu Ohashi (shiatsu), Stephen Birch,Ph.D. (Japanese acupuncture), Shri Shyam Bhatnagar (chakra psychology,) Francis Dreher, Ph.D. (clinical hypnotherapy) and Bob Moore (spiritual healing).

Saki is a graduate of the San Francisco School of Massage Therapy (1979) and of the European University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (1986). She received a doctoral degree in clinical hypnotherapy and neuro-linguistic programming from AIH/American Pacific University (1997).

When she isn't working with patients in her acupuncture and healing practice or travelling to guide retreats, she is in her garden, learning from nature. Music, sacred dance and deep mysticism are great sources of inspiration for her.
